The train that has been giving free rides for the last 73 years

The particular practice was launched again in 1948 when the dam was beneath building to ferry workers and heavy equipment. Seven many years since, the practice remains to be plying fare-free, carrying each BBMB workers in addition to vacationers.  The Bhakra practice is claimed to ferry round 300 passengers each day from 25 surrounding villages with college students being the bulk.
