IN THE wake of constant killing of civilians, Pandits and outsiders in Kashmir, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday held a gathering to overview the safety state of affairs within the Valley. While the important thing focus of the assembly was safety preparedness for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, sources stated the present scenario was additionally mentioned.
This is the primary Yatra taking place within the Valley after abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. The Yatra that 12 months had been reduce shot as a result of August 5 choices and never held the following two years as a result of pandemic.

The assembly was chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, who’s learnt to have expressed concern over the present scenario within the Valley. He requested businesses to make sure no untoward incident occurs throughout the Yatra, which is scheduled to start on June 30.
The assembly was attended by CRPF chief Kuldiep Singh, BSF chief Pankaj Singh and officers of the Intelligence Bureau. J&Okay DGP Dilbagh Singh attended the assembly just about.
Sources stated the Centre has sanctioned 150 additional firms of the Central Armed Police Forces to make sure fool-proof safety. The Yatra can be monitored via drones throughout the complete route. Vehicles can be made to maneuver in a convoy and the complete route can be sanitised.
“There is heightened risk to the Yatra this year because terrorists are increasingly targeting civilians and in particular non-Muslim outsiders… That is why every minute detail is being worked out and every possible effort is being made to ensure the Yatra goes peacefully,” a senior safety institution officer stated.
