Five from Maharashtra killed in road accident on Yamuna Expressway


Five individuals, together with 4 ladies, died in an accident on the Yamuna Expressway Thursday morning after the car they have been travelling in rammed right into a truck at excessive pace, in response to the police.

The police stated the accident befell close to the 40 km milestone earlier than Jewar Toll Plaza at round 5 am. Five individuals have been declared “brought dead” after they have been rushed to the closest hospital and two are being handled at Kailash Hospital.

The victims hailed from Maharashtra and most of them have been of their sixties. The police suspect that the driving force of the car fell asleep on the wheel resulting in the accident. The truck has been seized by the police.

So far, no criticism has been acquired in reference to the accident. The our bodies of the victims will likely be handed over to their households after they attain the area.

Last week, seven individuals have been killed in an accident close to Mathura on the Yamuna Expressway after their automobile was hit by a car from behind.
