Maharashtra: Bus falls into gorge in Raigad, three dead, several injured


At least three individuals have died and several other others have sustained accidents after a bus carrying 35 passengers fell right into a gorge close to Mhasla tehsil in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Sunday. The variety of casualties is prone to rise.

According to preliminary info, the accident happened at Ghonse village in Raigad after the bus plunged 50-60 ft into the gorge. The passengers had been reportedly travelling from Thane to attend a perform at Shrivardhan village.

Police and rescue groups have been rushed to the spot and the rescue operation is underway.
