Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur launched the mascot ‘Dhakad’ together with official brand and official jersey of the Fourth Khelo India Youth Games at Panchkula on Saturday and lauded the hassle of Haryana to host the video games.

Haryana CM ML Khattar urged all of the departments to perform easily so as to make the video games successful. “While the fourth edition of the Khelo India Youth Games were postponed earlier, the extra time has given us more time to prepare. With 28 days remaining in the start of the games, all the infrastructure and preparations have been done and we welcome players from all over the country to give their best. I also urge all the departments along with the sports department to work in tandem and make these games successful,” mentioned Khattar.
Haryana sports activities minister Sandeep Singh too wished the gamers. “The games are finally happening after the delay due to Covid-19. Khelo India Games instill confidence among players and I thank PM Narendra Modi and union sports minister Anurag Thakur for giving Haryana the opportunity to host such games. This is the first time that Haryana is hosting the national games and we will make sure that it’s a memorable experience for the players as well as the officials,” mentioned Singh.
