Pahalgam: Top Hizb man among 3 militants killed


A TOP Hizbul Mujahideen militant commander was amongst three militants killed in a gunfight with safety forces in south Kashmir on Friday.

Police stated Mohammad Ashraf Khan alias Ashraf Molvi, one of many oldest surviving militant within the Valley, and two of his associates have been killed Friday morning within the forests of south Kashmir’s well-known vacationer vacation spot of Pahalgam.

Khan, who police sources stated was in late 40s, joined Hizbul Mujahideen in 2013 and was energetic in south Kashmir for 9 years. Sources stated other than being concerned in militant assaults, he was additionally instrumental in motivating native youth to affix militant ranks.
